We would like to send a big thank you to not only these students, but all of our students that go out of their way to help make the lives of those around them a little better.

A few of the things that are happening here in the future are outlined in the newsletter below. Including, Senior and Junior Parent Information, Scholarship/Tuition Assistance Opportunity, Prom Information, Great Schools Review, and Total School. If any of these interest you and I hope they do, please keep reading for more information.

Senior Parents
Early next week an email will be going home outlining many of the important events remaining this school year for your Senior, up until graduation. This will give you an opportunity to schedule important dates, as we know these next two months will be very chaotic. Please share this information with your fellow Senior Parents if they do not receive the schedule.

Junior Parents
There will be a Junior Parent meeting for anyone interested in helping on mulch delivery days. The meeting will be held on Thursday, April 23 at 7:30 PM in the study hall room at school.

Mulch will be delivered on Friday, May 1 at 6PM and Saturday, May 2 at 7:30 AM.

All help is greatly appreciated!

Any questions please call or text Joy Hays at 567-204-2243 or call Laura Pohlman at 419-695-5077.

Tuition Assistance
The PSAS 2015-2016 Tuition Assistance forms have arrived. Paper forms may be picked up at the Ministry Center or a PDF version can be emailed to you. Please send an email to hanf@delphosstjohns.org and the form will be returned promptly.

Scholarship Opportunity
The Northwest Ohio Scholarship Fund has expanded this year to include all 19 counties in the Toledo Diocese, for any Catholic School Students, attending Grades K-8. Visit http://www.nosf.org to obtain more information. The application deadline is Friday, May 29, 2015. We have been very fortunate this year with the number of opportunities for scholarships and tuition assistance than ever before, so please share this information with families who may be hesitant to attend St. John’s due to financial limitations.

Great Schools Rate and Review
If you have an opportunity your help would be greatly appreciated. Great Schools is a website that allows those looking into educational options in and around where they live, to examine what local schools have to offer, and read reviews from those that have either attended personally, or sent their children. With the Internet becoming such a valuable tool for people to research what the best option for education would be, I was hoping that if you had the time and the willingness, you might be able to write a small of review of St. John’s, to give perspective families a nudge in the right direction for the education of their child(ren). Thank you for all your help.

Total School
Do you know about the Lenten Practices? These questions are the focus of our Total School effort for March and April. Over the next two months, Total School will examine some of the everyday questions in our lives, and give us the tools necessary to help begin the understanding of the Lenten Practices. I encourage you to join us as we participate in this event at Mass over the next two months. For further information, please visit the following link http://www.delphosstjohnparish.org/ministries/total-school/total-school-newsletter.

Prom Information
Attached below are the Guidelines that we will be instituting for this year’s Prom, hosted at St. John’s High School. Please take an opportunity to look them over and help support our position of creating an atmosphere that lives up to the Catholic Values and Beliefs we try to instill in our students on a daily basis. If you have any questions regarding the Policy please let me know. These will also be going home with your son or daughter’s grade card if they are a Junior or Senior.

Good luck to all the St. John Students, that are competing this weekend in one way or another, bring home a win, as we are, Blue Jays.

Have a wonderful weekend and a Happy Easter.

Go Jays and God Bless,
