We experienced another great week here at St. John’s, as the number of weeks continues to dwindle as the end of the year quickly approaches. This week our Freshmen and Seniors had the privilege of listening to an Organ Donation Presentation, and how their choice could so many.
We also celebrated 89 students who earned the Academic Honor Roll, with a G.P.A. of 3.5 or higher, in the first three quarters of the school year, with a luncheon, catered by Dick’s Steak House. This is just a small token of our appreciation for their hard work this school year. A special thank you to Mr. Bockey and the National Honor Society for making this event possible.
Congratulations to Richard Cocuzza, who was selected by his teachers as the Optimist Student of the Month, for April. This honor is bestowed upon one student from each grade (9 to 12) throughout the school year. Congratulations again to Richard on this honor.
This weekend will mark the Annual Benefit Auction, celebrating 100 years of St. John’s Graduates. This is a wonderful event that is months in the making, with the proceeds benefiting our school and students. I would just like to thank everyone that works to make this event possible, and for all your generous support in helping our students have the best educational opportunities possible.

School Musical Tickets
This year’s school musical, “Guys and Dolls” will be presented on Thursday, April 30th and Friday, May 1st at 7:30 in the Robert A. Arnzen Gymnasium. Tickets are on sale in the High School Office or from cast members. All reserved seats are $7.00 and general admission seating is $5.00 and $3.00 for students in grades K to 6. If you have an opportunity please come out and watch some of our amazingly talented students perform.
We are in need of your help with mulch delivery. Delivery dates are Friday, May 1 at 6 PM and Saturday, May 2 at 7:30 AM. We have 5,611 bags to deliver.
We are also in need of parents to help spread mulch at Potash Corporation in Lima who has generously purchased 1,080 bags from us. We will be spreading it Saturday, May 2 and again Sunday, May 3 at 1 PM.

The PSAS 2015-2016 Tuition Assistance forms have arrived. Paper forms may be picked up at the Ministry Center or a PDF version can be emailed to you. Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and the form will be returned promptly.
The Northwest Ohio Scholarship Fund has expanded this year to include all 19 counties in the Toledo Diocese, for any Catholic School Students, attending Grades K-8. Visit http://www.nosf.org to obtain more information. The application deadline is Friday, May 29, 2015. We have been very fortunate this year with the number of opportunities for scholarships and tuition assistance than ever before, so please share this information with families who may be hesitant to attend St. John’s due to financial limitations.
Attached below are the Guidelines that we will be instituting for this year’s Prom, hosted at St. John’s High School. Please take an opportunity to look them over and help support our position of creating an atmosphere that lives up to the Catholic Values and Beliefs we try to instill in our students on a daily basis. If you have any questions regarding the Policy please let me know. These will also be going home with your son or daughter’s grade card if they are a Junior or Senior.
Final Yearbook Orders
April 30th is the final day to guarantee a yearbook for your son or daughter. The price is $65.00. All order forms and payment must be turned in April 30th. Extra books might be available but those will sold on a first come, first serve basis for $70. The order form is included as an attachment. Please make checks payable to Delphos St. John’s.
