November 20th Newsletter

Dear Parent(s)/Guardians(s) and Students:

It is hard to believe, but Thanksgiving is already next week, to kick of the holiday season.  And Today, Friday the 20th, the Liturgy Team conducted a Food Drive to Benefit St. Vincent de Paul, thanks to all students who donated items to the food drive.  Milk crates and laundry baskets are overflowing with canned goods, boxes of cereal and other tasty foods.  We are so blessed with all that God has given us and we are happy to share with those less fortunate.  We are called to share our time, talents, and treasures with others.  Hopefully, we have made the holiday season a little brighter this year!!

Below is a little information about the Clothing Drive, Scholarship Opportunity, Youth Night, Movie Night, and a PTO Jingle Jog Walk.

Weekly Trash Talk

Reduce paper waste by using less paper.  Use rags instead of paper towels.  Use dishes instead of paper plates.  Help grow a tree by following the attached directions on “How to Start a Tree from a Branch Clipping”.  For every ton of paper that is recycled, the following are saved:  17 trees, 275 pounds of sulfur, 350 pounds of limestone, 60,000 gallons of water, 3.3 cubic yards of landfill space.
