Dear Parent(s)/Guardians(s) and Students:
We experienced our first winter weather of the year, which resulted in two delays and a cancelation, this week. A pretty good week for the students, with today (Friday) and Monday (Martin Luther King Day) off as well. Though most has melted away, it looks as if we are in store for cooler weather early next week, hopefully the snow stays away so that we can maximize our educational time.
This week was a quiet week, but next week brings a number of activities to our building and for our students. Starting Tuesday with the Vantage Representatives visiting our Sophomores before their tour on February 3rd. Mid-Term Exams begin Wednesday, and will finish on Thursday. The students selected to attend the March for Life will leave Thursday evening and return Sunday. Please pray for their safe travels as they fight for the rights of the unborn. The First Semester/Second Quarter ends on Friday. Report cards will be going home the following week. Hard to believe, but the school year is half over.

Upon receipt of each of these scholarship applications, Mr. Unterbrink will be announcing them, and the criteria required to the Seniors during school.

New Tip/Safer School Hotline
With our former TIPS Line no longer active we felt the need to discover a new means to allow parents/students the ability to notify us of situations detrimental to the school or other students in an anonymous format.
An attachment below, further outlines the program and how it works to benefit the school and students. The following website is the link https://saferschools.ohio.gov/content/tip_line_information, which is also included on our homepage (www.delphosstjohns.org). Students will be given information brochures in their Religion Class with further details.
Please remember that if there are any issues you would like to make us aware of our door is always open as we would love to hear from you.
