February 19th Newsletter

Dear Parent(s)/Guardians(s) and Students:

A short week, but a productive week.  As we celebrate our Second Week of Lent we ask the Lord, to open our lips, and our mouth to declare His praise.

Congratulations to Madilynn Schulte, our Optimist Student of the Month.  Throughout this year, Madilynn has exhibited the qualities necessary to earn this award, whether it be through her academic achievement, participation in extra-curricular activities, or her willingness to help staff or students.  Madilynn exemplifies what it means to be the Optimist Student of the Month.

A big thank you to the OSU Extension Offices of Allen and Putnam Counties for hosting the Real Money/Real World simulation here at St. John’s.  This was a great opportunity for our students to participate in an activity outside the classroom, giving them a taste of the challenges faced in budgeting your money and being accountable for everything from bills to family.

We would also like to thank all of our volunteers, who took time out of their day to help our students through this process and better understand the financial future they may face.  To provide events such as these for our students takes a family, and it is wonderful to know our St. John’s family is there to help.

Below is a little information about Ohio Has Talent, PTO Nominations, TutorMe ACT Course, Catholic Heart Work Camp, Freshman Orientation, Yearbook, Senior Class Fundraiser, Church Camp, Local Scholarship Opportunities, a Tuition Scholarship Opportunity, Youth Group, INFOhio, and Prom.
