Dear Parent(s)/Guardians(s) and Students:
We hope that everyone had a relaxing and blessed Holy Week/Easter celebration. That you had time to spend with family, friends, and loved ones. As we look ahead to the calendar, the school year is quickly coming to an end, and with that comes a number of activities and events. One being the end of the Third Quarter and Grade Cards being placed in the mail today. Please refer to the calendar link below to stay as up to date as possible, as we will also be sending reminders home. If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask.
Congratulations to Adam Schneer who will represent St. John’s and the Kiwanis Club as our HOBY Leadership Representative. Adam will spend a week on the campus of Ohio Northern University, recognizing his leadership talents, and applying them to becoming an effective, ethical leader in his home, school, workplace, and community. Today we conduct our second Blood Drive of the year, and the turnout from our students was impressive. We were able to provide the Red Cross with 29 units of usable, viable blood that has the potential to save close to 90 lives. Thank you to Mrs. Harris, the SADD Committee, and all who helped to make this day possible. We also reached our goal in obtaining enough units of blood throughout the year, that the Red Cross will be giving us a scholarship we can pass along to one of our Seniors.

Attached below are the Guidelines that we will be instituting for this year’s Prom, hosted at St. John’s High School. These guidelines must be looked over and followed to help support our position of creating an atmosphere that lives up to the Catholic Values and Beliefs we try to instill in our students on a daily basis. If you have any questions regarding the Policy, please let me know.
Reminder – All Dresses must be submitted for approval, to gain access to Prom. Please refer to the guidelines on how to complete this process.
It can feel good to be looked at, but remember do they really see the true you. In dressing modest young women can be known for who they are and not what they wear. Humility is the sentiment and modesty is how we live our lives so that God can bless us.
