Dear Parent(s)/Guardians(s) and Students:
Thank you for an amazing school year. From all of our teachers and staff, you are what makes St. John’s truly great. The dedication of our students, the support of our parents, and the pride we all have in our school and parish, have allowed us to have the success we have had in academics, arts, and athletics, this year, and we look forward to that same continued success next school year. However, before that takes place, we pray that you and your families have a wonderful, safe, and blessed summer as you enjoy family vacations, time away, or just the extra time with each other.
Remember, if there is anything you need please do not hesitate to ask, we will be around throughout the summer to help.

Junior High Footwear Dress Code
Some of you have recently asked some questions about the changes that will be taking place with the Junior High, in regards to the footwear they will be required to wear to school next year. We wanted to let you know that we are currently in the process of making this adjustment easy for all Junior High Parents and Students, in regards to what to wear and cost.
We are speaking with a few local retailers about the opportunity of supplying our shoe choices for the Junior High. Making the decision of what to wear simple, while also trying to find the best prices and costs for you. Once we have completed this process, we will provide you with all the information you will need, making this change in the dress code easy. We hope to have this completed by the end of June.
Thank you for your support and patience as we continue to finalize the details.
Please see our Summer Office Hours attached below.
Important 2016-17 Tuition Information
If you have not submitted any application for a Scholarship for the 2016-17 school year, please do so as soon as possible. The Parish/Community Member Scholarship Application is attached below. All families who have submitted a Parish or Community Member Scholarship so far have received an Award Letter and Tuition Worksheet from the Parish Office. Many families still need to submit their Tuition Worksheet, to select your payment plan and to accept your award. Once you return this information you will then receive a Tuition Statement from SMART Tuition showing your Tuition Bill for the 2016-17 school year.
If you have questions about what you need to submit, please call the Parish Ministry Center, 419-695-4050, the Elementary School Office, 419-692-8561, or the Junior High/High School Office, 419-692-5371, and we will be glad to assist you. Thank you for helping us keep the cost of Catholic Education an excellent value at St. John’s.
Attached below are the instructions for our new tuition assistance process, above and beyond the Parish and Community Scholarship that you have already applied for. We have moved from Private School Aid Services to the Smart Aid Program. Smart Aid ties directly into our Smart Tuition Program. We ask that all requests be submitted by June 30. If you have any question, please contact Ted Hanf at the Ministry Center.
Good luck to all the St. John Students, that are competing this weekend in one way or another, bring home a win, as you have already made the Blue Family so proud of you. To those going out of town or on vacation, we pray for safe travels and an enjoyable time.
Go Jays and God Bless,
