November 4th Newsletter

Dear Parent(s)/Guardians(s) and Students:

Though last week was quite in terms of events and adjusted schedules, it was a week that allowed us to celebrate the All-Saints Day Mass, and for the over 40 students that participated in giving blood to help those in need and the Red Cross.

This week is a shortened week, but a week with many things taking place, as you will see below.  Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.

November 8th, Class Ring Delivery and Blessing – 8th Graders taking the Vantage Tour

November 9th, 1:30 Dismissal

November 9th and 10th, Parent-Teacher Conferences

November 11th, Veterans Day and No School

November 18th, Dr. Sherger Presentation for the Junior High

November 22nd, Thanksgiving Mass and 1:30 Dismissal for the Thanksgiving

November 23rd to 25th, No School for Thanksgiving Vacation

November 27th, Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

Accreditation Survey Parent Survey

You received an email this morning asking you to complete a Parent Survey, in order to provide feedback help us outline our School Improvement Plan for the next five years.  We ask that you take a small moment of your time (10 to 20 minutes) to complete that survey.

Thank you for your honest feedback to help us continue to be the best Catholic School we can be!

Parent-Teacher Conferences

The attachment below provides the information regarding our upcoming Parent-Teacher Conferences.  We hope to see all of you, but please remember, even though we only have conferences for two days, you are highly encouraged to stay in touch with your son or daughter’s teachers throughout the school year.

Parent-Teacher Conference Letter To All Parents

Family Movie Night

On November 19th in the Arnzen Gym, members of the Girl Scouts will be hosting a Family Movie night here at St. John’s.  Doors will open at 6:30 PM, with the movie starting at 7:00 PM.  They will be showing Zootopia. The Movie Night is a fundraiser for a Gaga Pit that will be put in the open field by school.
