Dear Parent(s)/Guardians(s) and Students:
With Christmas Break only 15 days away (but who is counting); there are a number of exciting events taking place. Whether it be a concert or donation day or basketball game or wrestling match, there is something exciting going on at St. John’s. Please check the calendar below for more details.
We would like to thank everyone that helped (from the adults to the juniors and seniors) make the Parent Night Out, Holiday Edition, such a success.
Congratulations to our four newest inductees who entered the Hall of Fame…
Professional Achievement: Duane Pohlman, Class of 1982
Arts/Athletic Achievement: Ken Burgei, Class of 1968
Service to Mankind: Father Bob Holden, Class of 1954
Service to St. John’s: Dorothy Fisher
These are four examples of how great it is to be a Blue Jay.
Congratulations to Mrs. Stiffey’s Seniors and Mrs. Elwer’s Kindergarten Students on being selected as the class of the week by WLIO.

Shop with Your Heart
Here are the results from the quick survey that many of you filled out for our 7th grade Lego Robotics team.
90.6% usually buy meat from the grocery store.
56.8% do not think about the type of farm the animal came from.
100% have never asked what type of farm the animal came from.
This team designed unique car air fresheners with QR Codes on the back to scan and learn about farm animal welfare. They have been studying farm animal welfare and would like to share their information so everyone will start thinking about what type of farm the animal came from. See the attached flyer and scan the codes! Thanks for your participation.
Have a great week.
Go Jays and God Bless,
