Good Afternoon Parent(s)/Guardians(s) and Students:
An amazing Catholic Schools Week is starting this Sunday, with a number of events and happenings taking place to celebrate the reason our school was founded and still exists to educate students today. Thank you so much for being part of that family.
A big thank you to everyone who put so much time and effort into making next week a reality. From Mrs. Honigford, Sister Joella, Sister Susan, Father Dennis, Father Doug, and Father Johnson, to the teachers, the students, and PTO. None of this could have been done without you.
Should you have any questions, about anything, please let us know.
The next Newsletter will go out on February 12.
Please refer to http://www.delphosstjohns.org/JuniorHighHighSchoolCalendar.aspx for the most up-to-date information about the happenings taking place in the Junior High and High School.

Going along with this day, students Grades 9 to 12 will have an opportunity to hear from missionaries from the Culture Project. German Exchange Students
The Delphos/Verl Friendshiplink is once again searching for host families for high school exchange students from our sister city Verl, Germany. Students usually arrive late July and return home to Germany early December. They can attend either St. John’s or Jefferson High School. We are looking for local families who live in Delphos and have school-aged children in the home. We have four students from Verl who have made applications to come to Delphos later this year.
For more information on hosting a student, please contact Rick Hanser at firstname.lastname@example.org. Deadline for signing up to be a host family will be March 23.
Attention Junior Class Parents
Thank you to those who have already volunteered to help with the Junior Mulch Sale, however, we are still looking for some help. Post Prom will be held at the Bowling Alley on May 12 starting at 10:30 PM. Listed below are the various committees, but where most of the help is needed is in the delivering of the mulch, as this is how Post Prom is funded and any money left over goes towards helping to cover the cost of the Class Trip.
The following are the committees that still need help…
Mulch – People to help deliver the mulch
Prizes – 1 chairperson and 3 people to help
Mass/Thank you/Poster – 2 people to help
Valet Parking – 2 to 3 fathers to help
There will be a Junior Post Prom Parent Meeting on Wednesday, January 31 at 7:00 PM in Study Hall (East Room). Thank you for attending.
If you could help in any way or have any questions, please let us know what committee you would like to be placed on and if you would want to be in charge of a committee. We can be reached at email@example.com or by texting/calling 419-204-0590.

Attached below are the Guidelines that we will be instituting for this year’s Prom, hosted at St. John’s High School. These guidelines must be looked over and followed to help support our position of creating an atmosphere that lives up to the Catholic Values and Beliefs we try to instill in our students on a daily basis. If you have any questions regarding the Policy, please let me know.
Reminder – All Dresses must be submitted for approval, to gain access to Prom. Please refer to the guidelines on how to complete this process.
It can feel good to be looked at, but remember do they really see the true you. In dressing modest young women can be known for who they are and not what they wear. Humility is the sentiment and modesty is how we live our lives so that God can bless us.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Go Jays and God Bless,
